Koi Fish
Koi fish, known as “living jewels” and “swimming flowers,” are admired for their beauty and symbolism. Originating from Eastern Asia, these resilient fish symbolize determination and courage, famously climbing waterfalls to reach their goals. A legend suggests that koi overcoming the Dragon Gate falls transform into dragons, representing growth and transformation—values we embrace at Stephanie’s Courage.
Yin Yang
The yin yang symbol, or “taijitu,” represents balance and harmony through its interlocking black and white swirls. Each swirl contains a dot of the opposite color, illustrating how opposing forces are interconnected and constantly shifting. The symbol’s outer circle signifies the universe, highlighting the endless journey of understanding life’s dualities.
Why Blue?
Blue, symbolizing the sky and sea, evokes depth, stability, and calm. It represents trust, wisdom, and serenity, and is known to have a soothing effect on the mind and body. In heraldry, blue signifies sincerity and piety, aligning with the values we uphold at Stephanie’s Courage.
